Md Ekhtear Hossain is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences and Chemistry, Southern University A & M College, Baton Rouge, USA. Dr. Hossain received his Ph.D. degree in Medical Science (2015) from the Aichi Medical University, School of Medicine, Japan. Afterward, he went on to complete two Postdoctoral training, one in Pharmacology and Physiology (2015-2018) at the Université de Montréal, Canada, and one in Inhalation and Developmental Toxicology (2018-2020) at the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, USA. Dr. Hossain obtained his B.Sc. (2007) and M.Sc. (2008) degrees (with top grade and top score) from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. During his 14 years of research carrier, he published more than 25 original research articles in various well-reputed scientific journals and got various national and international scholarships and awards. He serves on the editorial boards of numerous well-respected Journals, including Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Marine drugs. His research interests are generally focused on Environmental Health Sciences.
